Whole home remodel in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Welcome to this major home remodel in Minneapolis. Completed in 2020, the project features a completely new kitchen, new second-floor master bath, new lighting (including skylights to bring in more natural light) and new floors throughout the home (both hardwood and carpet). We also put in new Pella Windows, redid the siding, and added exterior stone lighting.
Kitchen and dining room – This open-concept kitchen in Minneapolis features a vaulted ceiling that is shared with the living room. The eat-in kitchen concept with a large sink in the center island. White flat-panel cabinets complement the dark granite countertops. A gray tile backsplash behind the electric cooktop goes up the wall to the stainless steel range. The kitchen features all stainless steel appliances, including a double oven and large french-door refrigerator. A large contemporary light hands over the dining table just off the kitchen. The dining area walks out to a small balcony on the front of the South Minneapolis home.
Living room – Having a mid-sized home doesn’t mean you’re confined to small spaces. This living room in Minneapolis was transformed into a contemporary open concept main level. The space features a dark brown wood floor, vaulted ceiling with gray walls. A built-in fireplace makes the otherwise large open space seem a bit more cozy.
Bathroom – Small bathroom in Minneapolis made to feel larger with a vaulted ceiling. The alcove shower has a hinged shower door and custom inlaid tile work. The built-in vanity features white flat-panel cabinets, white countertops and dark matte hardware.
Master bedroom – The master bedroom was added to this home in Minneapolis. The second floor addition is in keeping with the contemporary style of the rest of the home. Continuing the theme from the main floor, the master bedroom has vaulted ceilings with skylights to let in extra light. The bedroom has light carpet with gray walls.
Family room – Beautiful white built-in cabinets keep the family room looking crisp and clean.
