A safe and welcoming shelter for youth
Brittany’s Place turned to Von Companies to update to its communal living spaces to better serve youth in need. The renovation transformed the kitchen, dining area, community sitting area, bathroom, and outdoor spaces, to create a more welcoming and functional environment.
The kitchen was redesigned with modern appliances and spacious countertops, making meal preparation easier and more enjoyable. The dining area was refreshed with comfortable seating and bright decor, encouraging communal meals and interaction. The community sitting area was furnished with cozy, durable furniture and vibrant wall art, providing a relaxing space for youth to socialize and unwind. A second sitting space just inside large doors will allow residents to enjoy the outdoors.
Outside, the shelter enhanced its green spaces with seating areas, gardens, and a picnic area, offering residents a peaceful and safe retreat in the fresh air.
These updates will not only improve the aesthetics and functionality of Brittany’s Place but also uplift the spirits of its residents, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment to heal and grow.
